Pros...
You can buy a nicer truck to work with company write off.
You can get away from the equipment when not working.
Heat and smell are gone..
You can carry more equipment to several locations without unloading and loading.
Cons...
Hard on Gas
Finding Parking in tight locations, Try Condo's in Florida
Trying to back in on a busy Street, Tons of fun
Having to hook up and unhook at the end of the day.
Stopping on wet roads...That can be fun
Try going down a one way street for two blocks only to find out that road dead ends. Then backing the unit up the entire distance with cars on both sides of the road, true story..
There are a few good points with the trailer but overall a van will win which is the exact reason I went into the new van a few years ago from pulling a trailer.
What Im saving in gas is making half the payment on the van....
Now if you really want to get crazy, Which I'm looking is a Box Truck, With the side cut out for a sliding door installed, Now were talking but that comes with a higher price tag.
