Well, i took the new Cub for its first run out today.
Where do i start? ok, it's light, when i say light i mean light, i can carry it single handed up a flight of stairs.. and i am not a big man..
Once set up i did a few experiments regarding hose sizes, first was a 1.5" hide-a-hose.. this worked ok.. i say ok as it did it's job but i could tell it was restricting the machine somewhat.. so i hooked up the 2" hose and the machine came into it's own, sucking like ................. insert whatever you want there.. ... vast improvement over the 1.5" hose..
The pump pressure as all that's needed, it flushed the carpets with ease.
Setting up and emptying was a straightforward event, nice and simple, just remember to bleed the pump for a couple of second before use..
I use the yellow hose to empty and rinse the machine.. any water or grit that's left in the bottom, just tip the machine forward over a bucket and give it a swirl round with the house and job done.. it's no problem and easier to empty than other machines i have used..
Final verdict : it's a game changer, i can see me using it a lot, many reasons why, it's easy to maneuver, it's light, it's quick to setup and easy to clean, it's out performed any expectations i had and it's was a time saver on the job today, it's more powerful than any machine in its size class that i have used before....
Very happy and one of the best buys yet..
I should add, i don't work for solutions or get paid to write this... but i will be asking Nick for commission soon..:joker:
