When logging on to YouTube musical suggestions appear.
One that came up frequently was a Randy Travis number released two years ago, I was unfamiliar with song entitled "Where Than Came From".
I really liked the song and got if from iTunes.
I was shocked as Travis suffered a stroke some years ago and could barely speak.
We have discussed unauthorized AI generated videos of Jim singing with the consensus opinion being that they were distasteful in one way or another.
That's when I discovered that the Randy Travis's song was authorized, and created by his musical team.
The song's video was on YouTube without explanation, but another video by "CBS Sunday Morning", "Randy Travis Sings Again, Courtesy of AI", explains the AI generation procedure in depth, and the original songs video background.
This is one of the few "modern" country songs I like and coincidently with a real baritone.
I welcome other opinions.

Interesting song Bob, and thank you for the post.
I did a quick search on the Randy Travis song "Where That Came From". Apparently this song was his first release after his 2013 stroke and they used an AI model trained on his past vocal tracks to produce this track.. They used a country singer James DePre (never heard of him) sing the guide vocals and an AI program to overlay Travis' voice texture on top.
Well what next? I personally sensed the familiar richness in the voice a bit lacking. Yeah, Randy's "timber" was not quite there for me but must admit a reasonable facsimile non the less.

Great in in-depth analysis.
I never heard of James DePre either.
Your ear is more fine tuned than mine, as I have not followed Randy Travis extensively.
This particular song just "grabbed" me. I like it.
