I always thought one of these pictures would have been a better choice for the cover of Jim's Christmas album. Any other opinions?...

I never saw these two before. I had to go back to the album cover to compare.

I think the first one is very nice and more colorful than the cover. I think it was not chosen as Jim's stare looks a little spacey. Otherwise I would have chosen it.

The second one Jim is leaning a little too far forward and his face looks pale.

Just an opinion subject to change by more expert observations.

Unfortunately Jim, like most of us, had an appearance that is not naturally liked by the camera.

Have to do a lot of picking before a good one shows up.

I like the top picture. Second one with Jim leaning forward makes it look like he's queuing to run the Marathon. Not quite the right fit.. However, I do appreciate seeing his famous watch and ring absent in the first picture.. but of course there in the published album cover.

Just never liked the expression on his face on the album cover. He looks much better and happier in the other two. I have to disagree about Jim not taking a good picture. I think he looks fine in most of them...
