Has anyone purchased a book called “JIM REEVES BIOGRAPHY: Life, Love, and Tragedy: The Untold Story Behind
the Golden Voice” ? Published August 2025.
I downloaded a sample to my kindle but it did not really give you a “feel” of its contents.

You're batting 1,000, on new Jim Reeves products.

I ended up getting 9 fridge magnets of the more established album covers from you're last posting.

Checked on this new book, but I think I need to know more about how it compares to Larry's work before I make a purchase.

The price for the hardcover seems reasonable, however.

If the image on the front cover is anything to go by then I don’t hold much hope for the contents !!!
I do love the magnets but with the international postage to the UK they work out at £32 for 3 and as much as I want them , it’s a bit much.

Agree totally. That's why I am hesitant about the book.

Too bad about the magnets but I agree there also.

They will occupy a place of honor next to our Norman Rockwell magnet collection about Americana.

I took the plunge and ordered the kindle version because it was under £5.00. It really is bad, full of generalisations with very little fact. You learn more from some cd liner notes !!!!

Your observation about the quality of the cover was the first indicator for concern.

My second concern was that it was going to be a "cut and paste" from Larry's book which I have and am mentioned in.

You saved me from waisting $30.00 for the hardcover.

I left a scathing review on Amazon.co.uk,
I really hope nobody spends any money on this garbage.
