I certainly can't speak for everyone here on the Forum, but I have had it with this AI and the videos posted on Jim. I will not watch any more of these from now on. I guess it's my protest of not supporting something I personally feel is an abomination of Jim's craft. Anyone who says a computer program is as good as Jim's heart and soul delivery is simply and totally untrue.
Enough is enough, and add to this knowing that opportunists are making money off of Jim's talent is unconscionable. After so many hits, money is made. .just not right.
The question of Copy right infringement unfortunately, as far as I know, has been take advantage of. After 50 years, songs become public domain. No doubt this played a big part of this operation to make money off a gentle sole we last so many years ago. I want to cry and swear at the same time over what AI is doing to us.
I know not all will agree, but I must speak from the heart on this. I think Jim may just approve... . Thank You

I have to go along with Roy on this. These AI recordings are just distracting from the real Jim's amazing body of work. Do we really need an artificial Jim? Didn't the real Jim Reeves leave us enough beautiful recordings to enjoy? I'm sure these were created with good intention, but something inside my head tells me this is wrong. There are 4 or 5 new AI songs appearing everyday. In time, these could outnumber the vast catalog that is Jim's legacy and draw attention away from the actual recordings that Jim worked so hard to give us us. I would never want to see that happen.I know many of us will look at this differently, but this is how I personally feel...

I have to agree.
At first I was taken by these AI recordings some of which I really liked especially "Put Your Worries in a Suitcase".
Now it has gotten out of hand with too many mediocre releases, which do not do Jim's legacy justice.
These AI releases now seem to be morbid and possibly demonic.
The novelty has worn off.

Some good, some bad. I'll keep listening for any good ones. 'Your Forever's Don't Last Very Long (V1) I think is good. In the real world, Jim's music is not heard much, even in his home Country. He is the most underated Country Star by far and these new AI may help to reverse that. These AI have created more interest in him than I have seen for a long time.

Peter, I'm certainly not against Jim's music getting more attention. I know we all want that. But these songs are not Jim. There are many ways to get new generations of fans to hear Jim, but I just don't think this is the way to do it. If Jim heard these songs, he might very well say he would treat them differently as far as arrangement and vocal delivery. I don't think it's right that anyone should assume that Jim would present these songs the way they are presented here. You and I might like them, but I don't think anyone should be making their own decisions on how Jim would want to present his music. I am definately impressed that these songs sound exactly like Jim, but the bottom line is that they are not Jim. I have to politely agree with Robert when he said the novelty has worn off...

Hi Mike, Thanks for your comments. I listen to over 90% of music on Youtube. I have a Smart TV with Youtube App, and a 20 year old Pioneer Sound Surround. 'Your Forever's - Version 1'sounds fabulous on this. Here in the UK there is nothing else available for me or new generations apart from Youtube. Wish there were!

Like everyone posting here I believe to the last man or woman we all want to see Jim Reeves Music expanded so as to be appreciated by the entire world.
Our desire is to have others experience the fabulous voice, vocalizations, and beauty, that we so appreciate.
That being said I want to state that I am not political in any way left or right.
However there has been conversation lately about President Trump's "playlist" and the music heard by representative nation states while at the White House or Mar a Largo.
In order to try to get Jim's music recognised, I messaged Laura Trump at her Email address myviewfnc@foxnews.com and encouraged her to acquaint herself and staff with Jim's music and suggested "The Jim Reeves Way", Talking to Your Heart, and Twelve Songs of Christmas", as good examples to start with.
Haven't gotten a response but Laura Trump released a song herself a few months back (On ITunes)so I know she is aware of the importance of music, and I also think she is kind of Country.
I try to "Spread the Word" wherever I go.
The abundance of AI releases on Jim proves the interest is there, just needed is the proper mechanism with which to enlighten.
