I see that the Irish singer Clodagh Rodgers died yesterday 18th April aged 79. She had good words to say about Jim Reeves during his Irish tour. She even stayed with him and Mary not too long before he died.

I always thought of her as having dark hair, but she was blond.

I was unaware of this artist. Thanks for the info.

A little research seems to indicate that Jim helped her in much the same way he did for Dottie West, with lesser results.

Jim's help for Dottie was told in the 1995 TV Movie "Big Dreams and Broken Hearts", starring Michele Lee.

An actor Norm Woodel played Jim Reeves in the movie.

I was surprised when I saw the Movie on TV with Jim recognized, and if I remember correctly, was a little difficult to obtain in DVD format.

I think it is easier now.

It appears the Dvd is still hard to get and the CD is very expensive.

I was disappointed with the actor they chose to play Jim. Nothing against Norm Woodel, but I think they could have found someone better.
