Bizarre video about an obsessed Jim Reeves fan...

Just found this BBC video filmed in 1973 and 1988 about a young English girl who was obsessed with Jim. Have to see this to believe it!...

Yes, I have seen it. I did not mention it as
I thought everybody had. Very odd lady and a very patient former husband. Years ago there was a short programme on TV about her or somebody else, with Jim Reeves blasting out in her garden as she hung out her washing on the line!
Yes, I remember Jim Reeves being mentioned in a divorce for "loss of affection." He had been dead for many years then! She said his ghost used to come down at night and make love to her !

I found the video on YouTube and watched it. i had seen some of the earlier recorded parts in another video some years ago, but this one had more of those earlier recorded interviews as well as those recorded later.

I feel very sorry for both Jim and Maureen. Jim Marsh seems to have honestly cared for Maureen and its sad for him that she could not reciprocate. I thought at times that I was sort of obsessed with Jim Reeves because I have at times listened to his recordings for hours at a time and yearned to know more about the man. But Maureen's obsession is real and a bit troubling. The poor girl is never going to have a normal life, as I think of it. My heart breaks for both of them.
