Yes, today is the day ! Hard to believe it is 60 years since the passing of Jim and Dean. Seems more like 60 minutes. I only wish that those who might be holding any unseen videos and live performances would release them to us. I realise that not too many will exist but just one more to us real fans would mean the world to us.

60 years to the day and still ..." Missing You" ... One of the last songs Jim recorded on July 2nd. 1964.

I'm sure that anyone who loves Jim and his music is saddened each year when July 31st is upon us. I recently saw the letter again that Jim wrote to Judy Ford on July 2nd, 1964, the same day as Jim's last recording session at RCA. The last line Jim wrote in that letter was "See you in August", but it wasn't meant to be. Jim had bright plans ahead. He was to have his own TV show and return to South Africa to make another movie. He was, without a doubt, at the height of his career. He was taken from us much too soon, but his loyal fans will never forget him and continue to keep his memory alive...
