This is a very sad day to reflect back on to 1974. Those three days were some of the saddest days of my life....

57 years. I'm always sad to think what songs Jim might have recorded and what he might have done had he lived to be an old man.

Yes,Gary, that's the thought that haunts all of Jim's fans--what might have been had Jim lived? I also wonder how far Jim would have gone making movies. He was already scheduled to go back to South Africa to make his second film, but unfortunately, it was not to be. I still enjoy his one and only film "Kimberley Jim" and the soundtrack CD as well. Thanks for your thoughts on this anniversary, and you too Doris. I hope you are doing well...

Hi Mike: Yes, this is a sad day for sure. My son Jimmie's birthday was also this day. He was killed at age 19 in 1976. So it is a sad day of reminiscing for me.
Hope you are doing well, Mike.
Always for Jim, Doris

Hi Doris-- I never knew that about your son, and I'm so sorry to hear it. I hope you are doing well though, and it's always nice to see a new post from you here. Be well and God bless you always.-- Mike
