I've just been listening to the Voicemasters CD 'There's Someone Who Loves You' again. Thoroughly enjoyed it all and think especially that a really excellent job was done on the live show. It's really nice to have the extra tracks included. The liner notes refer to a little 'wobble' on the tape recording so presumably there was a bit that had to be missed out owing to distortion, but you'd never know it.
In his impersonations Jim does 'Mule'. Being in England I'm not aware of what singer he was referring to. Can anybody help please?
Lastly the 'Questionnaires' singers presumably refers to the Blue Boys by another name.
Great CD.

We corrected the "little wobble" so the last song on the show was usable. Our version is how Jim and the Blue Boys sounded the night fans heard them performing in the rain at the park on the mountainside in Pennsylvania.
When RCA released part of this, they edited out dialog that we included, edited out music, and then they did something really weird. They added STUDIO tracks to this live recording. I have the original reel-to-reel tape that Jim marked in his own handwriting identifying the recording so we were able to simply remaster it, correct the wobble at the end, and release it.
Thus fans get to hear the REAL sound on our CD, not the strange combination of studio music with the live.
