On the album "I Love You Because, this song-- or should I say recitation-- is a completely different take from the version released on the "Talkin' To Your Heart" album. Jim speaks the words quite differently on this alternate take and a bit faster than on the master. It made me think that there must be alternate versions of all the tracks on "Talkin' To Your Heart", yet this is the only one that has ever been released. It would be great if these tracks would surface someday...
The LP "Talking to your heart" along with many others, are now available on CD. The only one that I know of is the LP"There is always me". Which is only on vinyl, and Cassette. Another thing that you can no longer get is the sheet music for most of Jim's songs. Publishers have, for the most part have abolished them. Now although some popular ones like "four walls", Mexican Joe" etc are in a song book, the rest are no longer around, but some maybe.
