Just wanted to mention that, even after so many years, Jim Reeves is still played on radio at least here in Nova Scotia in Eastern Canada. One particular station (Seaside FM) played most of Jim's 'Twelve Songs of Christmas' over the month leading up to Christmas day. In particular one of the most songs played was 'An Old Christmas Card'. Each time this was played, the announcer mentioned that Jim's version was the standard to which all the other singers of this song was measured. Outside the Christmas season, I will hear at least two songs of Jim's in a morning broadcast. Very impressed and thankful Jim is still remembered and hopefully getting new fans as the years go by.
One of the announcers on Seaside FM here in Halifax mentioned that a total stranger from England, who live streams the show, sent him a VoiceMasters Cd to play on air. The announcer was very pleased and thankful for the kind offer. He played four of the songs that morning. Or at least that is what I heard, maybe some I missed. The announcer said this was a great addition to his collection, and will be played on future programs.
Radio Fremantle near Perth, Western Australia is another station I live stream each week and am treated to two hours of 'Creative Country' hosted by Geoff and Ian. Each week they will feature a 'Rare Reeves' selection with a story behind every song. Every third week in July, Geoff and Ian dedicate their entire program to Jim and his musical history. Very much appreciated and thank you.
Can anyone else add to this as to hearing Jim on public radio in todays world. Hopefully, I'm not alone in my endless quest to hear Jim singing on air.... Thanks everyone...have a great day !!

Roy, it's always nice to hear that Jim is still remembered and played in places like Nova Scotia. The Voicemasters releases are certainly playing a major part in keeping Jim's songs before the public, thanks to Larry, the wonder singers and musicians and everyone else who made these releases possible. This is something that most Jim Reeves fans never dreamed would happen some 20 years ago. Here's to more of these great releases and keeping Jim's memory alive!...
KWMT, 540 Fort Dodge Iowa plays Jim at least three times a day. Their coverage includes Iowa and parts of seven other states: Minnesota, Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, Kansas Nebraska and South Dakota. They take requests. The station is on the net, too.
