Just got my copy of the latest BGO Records release of the 4 Jim Reeves lps on cd. The sound is very good but the booklet was a disappointment. It is extremely sloppily written. It appears to have been written by multiple people and didn't fit together very well. In addition, it has factual errors. For example, the author(s) states the last song Jim Reeves recorded was "I Can't Stop Loving You".

Just listened to Jim's song 'My hands are clean ' and wondered if this was one of his overdubbed demo's. Also is it available on any LP other than. ..'And some friends'?

Having first heard 'I've lived a lot in my time' on the According to my heart LP many many times over the years, I was wondering if anyone knows if the overdub produced for the My Cathedral LP was perhaps released in error. I say this because the overdub goes out of sync a little in places.
