We just received word that the episode of the Jimmy Dean show that features Jim Reeves will be shown tonight on the RFD-TV channel, which is carried by Dish and Direct TV satellite networks. Air time is 7 p.m. Eastern. This is VERY exciting and may well be the best copy of this video ever to be available to fans since the program originally aired in 1964. Hope you see this post and will be able to tune in! -- JULIE

It's also available on my cable system. I've known about it for almost a week. They are also offering the complete season of The Jimmy Dean Show on DVD on the show

John, you said they were offering the complete season of "The Jimmy Dean Show" on DVD. I think the show was on for more than one season, so do you know which season they are offering on DVD, and if it's the season that has the episode with Jim? Also, do you have the info on how to send for it? I don't have the TV station where I am that's airing the show, and I have always wanted it on DVD. Any help from anyone on this would be greatly appreciated. There was a 3-DVD set available of all the best music performances from this show, but it is not any one season of complete episodes. Are you sure this is'nt what they were offereing?...

It looks like it will be repeated this coming Friday (April 7) at 10 PM Eastern. Maybe the network is available via internet (probably have to subscribe).

Sorry, Mike. I have not been on the web site lately due to overtime at work. That is why I didn't respond to you inquiry. But as has been posted, it was the first season on DVD, and I saw it on the commercial on the Jimmy Dean Show
