Vik Damone??

Came across interview info with Mary reeves on the web where she stated vik damone was the main influence on JRs singing style. First time I had heard this and I don't think it's mentioned in larry's book. Any views??

- the narrator sounds like Larry but not sure.
Also in the U.K. There is a famous comedian with the stage name 'vic reeves' - he stated that he got this name based on a combination of jr and vik
Damones names!

Base on this interview plus an analysis of both men's dress code and style circa mid late fifties early 60s it would appear that jrs change in dress and style was not due to hearing terry but rather an attempt to copy vik damone to some degree. This findings raises lots of questions re who really influenced jr.
