I have a question I have never seen posted here! Why were there 2 covers for The Country Side Of Jim Reeves CAL 686 One cover has Jim in a color pose sitting on a stump in the woods with trees for the background! The other is a b/w of the same pose but the background is different! any ideas for the change?
The record labels have often re-released LP's and either changed the cover art completely, or just slightly, like with "The Country Side Of Jim Reeves". The "He'll Have To Go" LP was first released with a black and white photo of Jim in the studio singing into the mic, but was later re-released with a color photo of Jim on the cover. I'm not quite sure though why the cover art is sometimes changed...
