Those of you who have signed up for my mailing list will be receiving an interesting -- and rather lengthy -- piece you may want to read about an attempt to besmirch my husband, Larry Jordan's, reputation as the author of the 672-page award-winning book, "Jim Reeves: His Untold Story." The fact that he also is the producer of a series of critically acclaimed CDs that are marketed around the world and even advertised on TV, seems to have once again aroused the baying hounds -- who are now going back 29 years to try to dredge up information from Larry's private life to try to embarrass him with.
We normally ignore such falderal but this latest nonsense is more along the lines of an attempt to BLACKMAIL Larry.
It seems that writing an exhaustive book on a popular country music singer and releasing music on that artist not only pleases scores of fans around the world, it also arouses an unhealthy envy and vile hatred amongst a few people who are jealous of Larry's accomplishments.
For that matter, ANYBODY these days who achieves anything of significance, is often targeted for abuse. Character assassination seems to be the order of the day.
So keep an eye out for the mailing. We have chosen to send it out via that method because it will reach many thousands of people that way, more so than come to this page. -- JULIE

There are some new developments as of this morning, so we are going to hold off for the moment in sending out that email. But you will be surprised by what happens next...
To briefly describe it, an old, bogus charge that Larry has been convicted of a felony has resurfaced with a new twist -- that he ruined the life of a prostitute! OMG...the lengths to which these crazies will go to attempt to denigrate Larry is just unimaginable. I told Larry it's a badge of honor that he does such good work that people are driven to such insane levels of jealousy they try to discredit his achievements.
