I have just come across a Jim Reeves tribute LP by Tom McClure. The date given is 1972.
As tributes go this is quite pleasant. Obviously he is no match for JR (who is?) but he made an unpretentious effort and it's definitely one for my collection.
The sleeve gives no bio and I have been able to find out next to nothing about him. Does anyone have any information on this singer please? I think he came from Greenock, Scotland, but that's all I could find.

I looked this guy up and he hails from Chesterton, Indiana. Seems he has only put one album out and that is the L.P. titled I Love You Because, A Tribute To Jim reeves.
