Here's a sample of "Jim Reeves: The New Gospel Recordings"

I've been asked to post a sample of one of the 34 songs contained on the new CD, "Jim Reeves: The New Gospel Recordings." This is a reworking of a favorite old song of Jim's. Hope you like it.
This CD is very unique in several respects, in that it contains unreleased material on Jim including some "false starts" and "countdowns" and you hear Jim, Chet and engineers talking. It's a real "behind the scenes" look at Jim in the recording studio -- the first time anything like this has been released.
Good overdub on "The Flowers, The Sunset, The Trees"! This is the song where Jim's voice was rather distorted on the original, which was rather unusual because Jim's voice always sounded crystal clear on his recordings. On this version, you can hear every word Jim sings, and to be honest, I had a little trouble making out some of the lyrics on the original version. This new re-master and overdub sounds as if Jim just recorded the song today!

Wow Larry it is just beautiful - so clear as crystal compared to the poor recording that RCA released. The lyrics are so powerful and true - - Can't wait to listen to the entire CD on a different platform. Thanks for a superb job once again.
