What an exquisite CD. Great job as always. It was a good mix of instrumentals, duets and solos. Loved all the songs. Another gorgeous VM production with tasteful music and clear audio face-lift. It was equally powerful and amazing to listen to Jim sing as well as hear him interact with his Opry friends in his deep, mellow voice.

It was also a treat to hear some of the old songs sung by Jim and the other artists and Jim's crystal clear voice giving the impression that you are sitting right there at the show listening to him. Oh, how I wished I had the fortune to sit on one of his shows!

Thank you Larry for unearthing these rare artifacts and widening the landscape so we, as fans, can have the opportunity to listen to our favorite artist in more than one way. It is always a pleasure to listen to Jim in a different vein.

Larry, you amaze me with all these wonderful surprises. We can't thank you enough for keeping Jim's legacy alive. Looking forward to your "what's next on the table."

Thanks for the kind words. I think the banquet table is full at the moment. I am enjoying this new CD.I had never heard Patsy Cline sing Crazy Dreams and the other track.I liked the "Crazy Dreams" song best.What an irony that Jim hosted the 964th Opry broadcast and he died in a plane crash in 1964.What a syncronicity and a coincidence.I wish he'd waited to host the 2023rd Opry broadcast and maybe lived to be 100.

I love the whole CD, but for some reason, I am especially fond of the way he sings "Yonder Comes A Sucker" on it. I really like the pace of this version!

Maybe that's because he slows it down as part of a three-song medley.

I had some of these recordings already; however, there is no comparison in clarity, of the copies I had to the cleaned up versions on this cd. In listening to "Worried Man Blues", I heard something I had never heard before. If you listen carefully, you can hear Jim Reeves start to sing before he should have, and before June Carter. You then hear him give a little laugh acknowledging his boo boo. The clarity of all the songs on the cd is outstanding.
