March 5th marks the sad anniversary of the death of Patsy Cline and three others in the tragic plane crash near Camden, Tennessee. As many of you know, Jim Reeves and Patsy were friends and often appeared on shows together. Jim hosted Patsy when he emceed the Friday Nite Frolics on WSM radio, and also the Grand Ole Opry. Patsy also flew on at least one of Jim's chartered planes with him and the Blue Boys to play show dates in the South, and according to pilot Bill Larson, even sang duets on stage with Jim! Can you imagine how great that must have sounded?
As you may know, VoiceMasters produced for H&H a wonderful CD called "The Divine Ms. Cline." It contains 20 of Patsy's best studio masters, which have been stripped down, remastered so her rich voice can be heard with greater clarity, and then combined with tasteful new instrumentation, to give her a fresh sound. Musicians who participated in this fantastic and one-of-a-kind project include current members of the Grand Ole Opry band in Nashville! There are also 6 previously unreleased LIVE IN CONCERT tracks by Patsy. So 20 NEW OVERDUBS ON PATSY not available anywhere else.
Billboard magazine calls this CD "stunning" and if you read the fan reviews for it on Amazon you'll see people are RAVING about it. This is not some mere rehash of the same old tracks. You will hear Patsy better than ever before, in gorgeous new musical settings!
This great CD is only $16.95 and contains beautiful color photos of Patsy plus an 8-page booklet by producer Larry Jordan. To hear audio samples of these wonderful new Patsy tracks and to order, click the link below.
