Can't get enough of the book!...

Larry, I've already read the book from cover to cover a few times, and yet I still go back to it quite often and read random chapters here and there. I can't seem to get enough of it! And the more I read it, the more I'm convinced that you were very fair to Jim and gave an honest account of the kind of man he was and the way he lived.I would also like to compliment your daughter for coming up with the perfect title for the book!

Same here Larry I can't put it down and I thought I was the only one rereading. My boss sent me a quote a while back. "We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will." Larry you have done exactly that. Thank you for preserving the memories. I believe that those who have gone on like Jim can see us and are cheering us on in our efforts to do the right thing.

It is truly a fascinating book,and indeed it will keep Jims' legacy alive,he certainly isn't 'looking down',he is dead,as is EVERYONE else who have died, take a look at Ecclesiastes 9:5 and Psalms 146:4.

Agreed but what do you do with Hebrews 11? That is my point. I know he is not literally looking down but to a degree.

Thanks man. My dad is really getting excited to go to Carthage. He dearly loves Jim Reeves and I remeber him lsitening to the Grand Old Opry on his transistor radio late Saturday night when he went to bed. Just so her could hear Jim Reeves and some of the other great ones. It will be the trip of a lifetime of memories for him. Dad really gets misty eyed when we talk of Jim's music and how his music soothes his soul. That is the key for Jim Reeves success, he connected with his audience something you don't see much of anymore.
