
I did a bit of research on this song and video that I never heard before. It was written in 1955, by no other than rocker Chubby Checker in recognition and appreciation of Hank Williams.
I must say by the quality and hillbilly approach by June Carter I would have thought it was something from the 40's early 50's, not 1959. The same year Jim recorded "He'll Have To Go".
Also, as I noticed, I think it may be the only song Jim ever sang backup, and that was a very brief repetitive "30 Days". Not sure why he would even do this, but it's there.
