Jim did many great recordings in 1964.
I love them all.

A small correction:
As we learn in Larry Jordan's biography, the last recording of Jim was "I Can't Stop Loving You".
The 16-CD set from Bear Family had us fooled into thinking that "Maureen" was his last.
That very beautiful song about an Irish girl would've been a great last song of Jim's.

But, they had some time left on the session and decided to record "I Can't Stop Loving You".
Jim had done this live on several occasions.
At least we know he did it live on April 12, 1964 in Stockholm, Sweden.
