The music business can really be unfair. A friend of mine named Palma Pasquale that I sang with in Church years ago and has since passed on wrote really good songs and was a gifted musician. The Carpenters recorded one of her songs. It's an album track called "Love Me For What I Am". The songwriter who wrote most of the Catpenters hits changed one or two lines and got a writing credit above hers. Really rediculous. The Carpenters were going to record more of her songs, but then Karen Carpenter passed away...
