I have been so busy I haven't checked into the Fan Forum lately, but when I tried to access it I kept getting error messages stating that the site was not secure. But of course it IS. I finally managed to get in, but noticed the icons were not displaying properly. So I have contacted Boardhost, which Julie and I have used for many years to host the Jim Reeves fan forum.

Facebook has taken over the world and people don't seem to be visiting other websites nearly as much as they used to. FB has also become problematic because they have some new robotic system that snags innocent posts that users make, removes them, and then claims they "violated community standards," which is ludicrous. I personally reposted a news article from a legitimate news source which stated that corporate greed is contributing to inflation. Well, not according to Facebook, which removed my post and claimed my post was putting people in danger! What the hell are they talking about? A few days ago I reposted a sweet photo of some boys who built a sand castle at the beach. Within seconds Facebook removed it as violating their standards again and threatened me. They are driving away people while Zuckerberg, who is a zillionaire, is literally building a Doomsday underground shelter in Hawaii. Does that sound rational to you?

Anyway, Julie started this Fan Forum years ago and we would like to keep it going...if the host isn't about to abandon us. (We also need to update the main site, jim-reeves.com)

As for Julie's participation, or lack thereof, we have our first granddaughter now, and Julie is babysitting her during the day so our daughter and son-in-law can work. That takes up a lot of time and energy. Julie still keeps abreast of what's going on in the music world and of course is aware of my CD releases.

I've very concerned about this Fan Forum being taken down if Boardhost is for some reason going out of business.

IN ORDER TO KEEP OUR GROUP TOGETHER...may I suggest that those of you who enjoy participating, email me at my personal email below, so I can add your name to a list and notify you if this board shuts down.
