As the years go by, Jim's music only becomes better and more important in this sometimes troubled world we now live in. It is difficult to believe he has been gone for 58 years, and still for me his work is still telling a story for all of us ... We just have to take the time to listen.

Thank goodness for this site created by the Jordan family, and the folks here on the Forum, for this gives us our last hope in keeping Jim's memory and body of work current in a world where many have lost sight of what real music and feelings are all about.

Gary, you said you were 12 in 1964. I was 15 but well remember the tragic week-end very well as if it was just yesterday. And Doris for your personal loss of a good friend, it is even more heart wrenching I'm sure. Thank you both for sharing your thoughts. May the good Lord bless us all ....
