Hi Gary .. I have always liked most of the Charlie Rich songs. Never a huge fan but would sit up and pay attention when I heard his voice on the radio. . You are so right in pointing out "It's All Over Now' and "I Don't See You...." they are some of his best work. And I agree that the backing track on both are well done if not exceptional.

To be voted Country Musician of the year in 1974, speaks for it self. I seem to remember he was called the 'Silver Fox' during this career. A very rich voice one that is instantly recognized, a far cry from what we find today.

Just listen to "Behind Closed Doors" and "The Most Beautiful Girl"...songs of quality that will stand the test of time ...... Hope this helps Gary.
