Today would have been Jim's 98th birthday, had he lived. We can only speculate on all the great things Jim would have done between July 31st, 1964 and the present. So many more great recordings, TV appearances and movies. During the years he was with us, however, it seems as if he practically lived in the recording studio. Jim left so many unreleased recordings that they are still being released to this day, thanks to Larry Jordan. Happy 98th birthday, Jim. We miss you more and more every day...
