Link: "Jim Reeves: The Lost Recordings"
An exciting new CD has been released called "JIM REEVES: THE LOST RECORDINGS" that has 32 performances by Jim you have never heard before, including 3 new songs -- "I Can't Help It If I'm Still In Love With You," "My World Ended Today" and "Unfaithful One." Besides this, Jim sings songs we've never heard him do "live" -- "Beautiful Life" and "The Flowers, the Sunset, the Trees."
Many of these performances were recorded live on stage at the Grand Ole Opry, and you even get to hear Chet Atkins give Jim the gold record award for a million sales of "He'll Have To Go," as well as Jim's remarks. Plus he sings the song.
There really is electricity in the air when Jim performs at the Ryman Auditorium. The audience goes WILD!!!!! We sometimes forget that this mellow crooner could really put on a show and generate excitement.
There are also 3 demos with just Reeves and his guitar.
NOBODY has released these tracks until now, so this is truly a world premier, and likely to generate a lot of enthusiasm worldwide amongst Jim Reeves fans.
Richard Moore did the audio restoration/mastering on this project and he has done major label work for EMI and others. The sound is remarkably clear and rich. Nothing anywhere online compares to the CD versions of this material.
