Yes, heard it on NBC news last night. Brian Williams, the NBC News Anchor, added that he was a "legend in the south", "champion in journalism and the 1st amendment and he meant the world to Nashville, Tennessee and he loved it right back." What a nice way to be remembered.

As I was listening to this news snippet, I was trying to recall as to where I had heard this name before. I knew that I have read about him somewhere - but could not recollect that instant. Vaguely thought since he loved Nashville, perhaps he knew Jim Reeves as a singer.

Delores Watson, the ABN show , and other details mentioned in the "Untold Story" was far from my thoughts that moment - just could not connect the dots.
