The first trip I made to Nashville when I was a teen many years ago, Mary took me to her two-room suite on the second floor of this building, where I recorded an interview with her on a big old reel to reel recorder I had borrowed from my church and lugged along with me the 650 miles I traveled by bus to get there! I still have that tape and may post excerpts at some point. I was still so young my voice hadn't changed yet (!) and I cringe when I hear it.
I wonder what the crazies will say who keep claiming I didn't know Mary Reeves?
