I certainly agree with you, Paul, that it would be a great idea to have the BBC radio show released on CD. It would be great to have it on disc! I can't recall anyone else ever mentioning this here, but there was also an excellent radio series on the life of Jim that Mary had released on a series of cassette tapes that she sold through the Jim Reeves Museum gift shop many years ago. This series was hosted and narrated by Eddy Arnold, and it was really good. I still have the tapes, but at the moment, I do not own a cassette player. It would have been great to have this series released on CD as well, but so far, it has never surfaced. I also agree with you guys about the contributions to Jim's recordings by the Anita Kerr Singers. For those of you who aren't aware, there is a great CD by the Anita Kerr Singers doing many of Jim's big hits. I believe the original LP was recorded shortly after Jim died. It's a great CD, and I've always admired their unique sound! I highly recommend this CD, if it's still available!
