"The Hebrew Israelites aka The nation of Israel were really the children of Jacob the Patriarch(whose name God changed to Israel)the grandson of Abraham and the son of Isaac. These children grew into a large nation while in Egypt. At first, under Joseph reign under Pharaoh, the nation thrived and grew large. Long after Joseph was gone and all he did was forgotten, the Pharaoh looked at the number of Hebrews and feared that they would overthrow the nation so he put them in bondage, making slaves of them and treating them harshly."-Jack Wellman.
( The terms Hebrews, Israelites, and Jews are close synonyms and are often used interchangeably.)
*Need non Biblical proof? Look up the Egyptian artifact The Merneptah Stele.*
And God heard their groaning, and God remembered his covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob(Isreal). Exodus 2:24 KJV.
God then decided to rescue His nation through Moses as He called out to him from within the burning bush.
So, that's who The Hebrew Israelites were. Since then, Jesus came, taught, and died on the cross for our sins and rose from the dead. We believe that Jesus Christ is The son of God. We confess with our mouths and believe with our hearts this is true. We are then saved aka Christians aka followers of Christ. We are not reppin' Black Hebrew Israelites or anything else.
*Don't believe in Jesus? Need non Biblical proof? Study the works of Josephus and Tacitus who wrote about Jesus and early Christians in Rome. This is real stuff!!!
"The word “Christian” is used three times in the New Testament (Acts 11:26;26:28; 1 Peter 4:16). Followers of Jesus Christ were first called “Christians” in Antioch (Acts 11:26) because their behavior, activity, and speech were like Christ. The word “Christian” literally means, “belonging to the party of Christ” or a follower of Christ.”
