The concept of reincarnation and karma is incompatible with what the Bible teaches about life, death, and the sowing and reaping of eternal life.
Good and Bad things can happen to you in life based on these things...
1.Cause & Effect/Free Will/Your Choices.
(If your life and/or choices aren't pleasing to God he may chastise you or test your faith to make it stronger. Also simple actions you take may hurt or help you.)
2.Sin.(We live in a world of Sin. People or things may harm you and/or others. It doesn't mean God doesn't care or isn't in control. He can intervene if he wants to.)
3.God's Blessings.(God blesses us by waking us up, keeping us safe, etc. God has also blessed us with Grace/Salvation/Forgiveness of sins/Eternal life. It's up to us to choose/accept salvation or not, which affects us in the Afterlife, and is most important.
-Simple examples of Cause & Effect/Free Will/Your Choices/Sin:
1.Water is heated, the molecules move quickly, and the water boils.
2.Bob worked hard, saved money, and bought a new car.
3.Bob was driving 75 in a 35 mile zone, therefore he got a speeding ticket.
4.Bob never brushes his teeth, so now he has six cavities.
5.Bob shoots 4 people and they all die.
