Re: What are the most common betting mistakes?

Among the common mistakes, I would single out excessive confidence in my own forecasts and an emotional reaction to losses. Sometimes a person begins to perceive a previous failure as a reason to increase the next bet, although the results of independent events are not required to compensate for each other. Another problem is choosing only those data that confirm the initial opinion. Sports events are influenced by too many variables to completely eliminate uncertainty. Therefore, it seems important to me to notice my own cognitive errors and not consider subjective confidence as proof of the accuracy of the forecast.
