Same boat a while back. Tried a few things and most were either full of ads or wanted you to install some app that felt off. The one that stuck for me was Tubidy, which runs entirely in the browser and does not ask for an account or anything. You just search for what you want, pick MP3 or a quality option, and the download starts. Files are clean and play on anything. Been using it for months and the search covers pretty much everything I have thrown at it. No catch that I have found, no weird redirect. Just the file.
