Has anyone here ever actually tried suing the city or public works over road conditions? I hit a massive, unmarked crater on my sportbike that was impossible to see. Sliced my tire, bent the forks, and messed up my back so badly I can't work. Friends are telling me that fighting the municipality is a waste of time and sanity. Is that true, or can a good lawyer actually get them to pay for my medical bills and bike repairs?
