I think I’m about to start wearing a full ski suit around the house just to stay warm. My boiler is only a few years old, but lately, the radiators are barely lukewarm even though my gas bills are skyrocketing like I’m running a 24/7 sauna. Yesterday, I noticed a strange humming sound coming from the pipes, almost like something is trapped inside. Calling out an engineer just to "take a look" costs a fortune these days, so I’m trying to figure this out myself. Does anyone know how to actually boost the system's efficiency without replacing the whole setup? Are there any maintenance tricks or settings that plumbers usually don't tell us about so we keep calling them back? I'd appreciate any advice because winter isn't over yet and my patience is wearing thin.
