Hi everyone, my daughter has entered that prickly teenage phase where any question about school or new friends gets either silence or a quick everything’s fine, recently I noticed she hides her phone whenever I walk by, and her WhatsApp chats seem to go on around the clock, even at night, I’m honestly worried she might be getting involved with the wrong crowd or talking to older, questionable people, I’ve tried calm conversations, but she just shuts down, looking over her shoulder only makes things worse, has anyone dealt with this? How do you gently monitor your child’s messaging circle without turning it into total surveillance?
