I’m renovating a 3-bedroom house in London and trying to budget properly for painting and decorating. I’ve seen some quotes but they vary a lot, and I’m unsure what’s realistic. Has anyone recently had their whole home painted (walls, ceilings, woodwork)? What did you end up paying including materials? Also: did the job take long, and was the finish really smooth or did you need to fix details yourself later? I want to avoid under-quoting because I’ve heard that sub-standard jobs often end with patchy paint, drips or unclean edges. Any honest feedback or price ranges will help me plan right.
