We installed a black front door last year and absolutely love it! The key is getting one with a good UV-resistant finish. As for dirt, honestly it shows less than our old white door did. Fingerprints around the handle are visible but a quick wipe fixes that. The dramatic look is worth it - completely transformed our home's curb appeal. Just make sure to pair it with the right hardware. We went with brushed nickel and it really pops against the black. Also added sidelights to keep the entrance bright since black can make things feel a bit darker
