I’m working on a project and trying to strike a balance between keeping the community active and not creating unrealistic expectations. Hype can drive short-term energy, but it often fades or backfires when the roadmap gets delayed.
We’re posting regular updates and hosting biweekly AMAs, but some people still complain there’s not “enough happening.” At the same time, I don’t want to turn everything into a big announcement when it’s just a backend tweak.
Any tips on how to keep the momentum going without faking hype? Especially curious how other managers handle quiet periods or slow dev cycles.
