Running Office 2021 on a VM—what’s the safest way to activate?

I set up a virtual machine for Office testing and loaded up 2021, but it’s demanding activation already. I don’t want to mess up the whole VM—does anyone know if KMS Pico or KMS Full can safely be used in a virtual environment? Looking for something lightweight and effective that won't trigger antivirus.
