Our department had the exact same issue last quarter! We found a colorblind-friendly light that uses different patterns AND positions in addition to colors. So busy mode has a distinct pattern that's recognizable regardless of color perception. It's specifically designed for color vision deficiency. We've been using them for about 3 months and even our colorblind colleagues can easily tell the statuses apart
