Hi, my old hard drive failed, so I installed a fresh copy of Windows on a new one. I assumed my activation would carry over, but it didn’t. I looked up why and learned that Windows ties activation to the hardware. I used kms full while searching for solutions and followed their guide to reactivate. Now, I know to check activation settings before reinstalling.
