Dennis, I have made several of the cutters for the ejector groove. Round and square. I thought I would see if there would be any improvment with a square groove. I am not satisfied with them. I started looking on line about sharpening. I found the Quorn grinder. It looks to be just the tool to make a precise cutter. I started to make the Floating End Mill Sharpener by Philip Duclos, the Home Shop Machinist, Village Press, Inc. I needed some sharp end mills so I modified the jig I made from Rudy Kouhoupt, Home Shop Machinist, Village Press, Inc. to cut at 2 degrees and 30 degrees and have sharpened some mills. Works pretty good since I changed the wheel to a medium hard fine grit. The wheel must be dressed. Only took me several days. Looks like I will not be getting back to the gun for a while. I also am going to ordered plans for the Tinker grinder. I have an idea to use parts of these designs on my grinder. You can buy an end mill sharpening jig on ebay for about $40. With labor mine cost about a gazillion dollars.
