Having walked the camino, it seems obvious that the Galacian Eucalyptus forests are an ecological disaster replacing the local flora and fauna. There should, for example, be native oak and chestnust forests of wet warm atlantic climate while eucalyptus weed trees are aliens to the local flora and fauna which can not utilise the trees nor the leaf products which lie in a thick mat on the forest floor and kill off all competing flora. The eucalyptus forests also lack birdsong. No, these trees look as if they are already an ecological disaster for Galacia.
