sounds like you want to do a lot of work with all the repotting plus conventional wisdom is to plant in deep pots rather than standard nursery contianers. my experience is that a small (.5m) euc planted shuld about double its size in one growing season and then grow on from there reaching 5m or more in about 5 years----assuming you are planting a tree type euc in proper growing conditions (sunny exposure protected from wind, good draiange) and the plant is not cutback by frost, wind, or people. at 10 yrs, many of my eucs of various species are at least 1-m or more. hope this helps.
